The Sims 4

The Sims 4 is a sequel to the series of virtual life simulators popular all over the world. It was developed by an American development studios, Maxis, just like all of the previous games. The first Sims debuted back in 2000. Its originator was Will Wright who is the founder of Maxis and creator of SimCity and the related games with the Sim prefix in their titles which celebrated the their greatest successes in the 90s. The Sims quickly surpassed other popular games from its developer's catalogue, becoming a phenomenon and one of the most popular brands in the electronic entertainment industry. Thanks to its numerous fanbase and general popularity, The Sims constantly receives sequels and dozens of smaller and larger add-ons.
The fourth Sims, just like its predecessors, avoids revolutionary changes in gameplay in favor of slow evolution of tried and true solutions. The goal of the game is still to look after a virtual Sim family by taking care of their needs, both spiritual and material, as well as providing them with shelter by designing their house and their yard.
